Welcome to Endfield Industries
Arknights: Endfield starts with a fairly familiar setup: a multiplatform anime-style action RPG with characters to collect, teams to build, and a gacha system. Nothing we haven't seen before. Then it hands you a factory.
And I'm not talking about a minor side activity to tick off between missions. Factory management is the game's second pillar, with enough depth to change the way you explore, gather resources, and develop your characters.
As the Endministrator, head of Endfield Industries, we find ourselves managing something considerably more demanding than the usual band of heroes tasked with saving the world. Between battles, there are production lines, logistics networks, and a frankly worrying number of things to organize.
The result is a game that, while slightly behind its competitors on the action side, manages to carve out a far more distinctive identity.
