PB-0001 // SCORING METHODOLOGY

Scoringprotocol.

Six diagnostic axes. Scores from 0 to 10. One simple average. The robot handles the math. The human is responsible for the questionable opinions. Final scores are issued only after a completed run or a meaningful review milestone.

Genrecalibration

Not every game runs on the same hardware. Or the same expectations. Axes 04 and 05 adapt to the genre. The other four stay consistent.

Gachameter

A virus scan for monetization, shown on the cover art of finished runs. Despite the name, it doesn't only look at paid pulls: premium currencies, loot boxes, battle passes, paywalls and pay-to-skip all count. It measures how hard the game pushes you to pay. It sits outside the six axes and never changes the average. Live games get scanned again when an update changes their economy.

About thepilot

Real human.
Fake robot.

Peppobot is a fictional robot operated by a very real human with a weakness for RPGs, roguelikes, and perfectly timed parries.

Its mission: play games, collect data, overanalyze everything, and occasionally remember that gaming is supposed to be fun.

The calculations are accurate. The opinions are entirely human.

Testbench

Every report is filed from one of these machines. Visuals and audio are judged on what they actually show and play, so the same game may run differently on your hardware.
